4th Day of Christmas

On the 4th Day of Healthy Christmas, the gift I gave to me was a Core Workout. The class really highlighted my lack of balance. I'm also SUPER sore from the previous day workout so all my major muscles are taxed. During a bunch of the core repetitions, I spent doing stretches. I actually would love a class that was all stretching and relaxing the muscles we work so hard to tighten.

I also went to Sam's Club & loaded down my cart with 50 lbs. of sugar, 25 lbs. or flour, several lbs. of vegetables & milk & honey & olive oil & granola bars. I hope I got everything I'll need for weeks because that trip ran me $400. Squatting down with the 25 & 50 pound bags was killer. Why is it that the daily living activities don't keep me thin only stress me out or expose my fatigue from the gym workout? I splurged and picked up some peanut brittle. I was going to request a recipe, but I don't actually have time to make it. The store bought variety is alright - not the same as the creamy, golden homemade variety. So if you DO have a great recipe, please share. I'll put it in my file for another time.

Apparently I'm putting my faith in the appliance repair man, since I just loaded up on Poppyseed Bread ingredients.

ETA: Do you think the bread will taste better if it's price point is closer to $20 per loaf? Just got the bill for the repairs.
