Will pee for candy

My Jessica (age 3 1/2) is potty training resistant. She regularly tells me how "tiny" she is. I've tried to explain that little girls use the potty and get the privilege of wearing pretty pink Dancing Princess panties and big mommies don't. She isn't bothered when she pees in her panties (and through her pants and onto my carpet). Now she just goes and gets new ones from her drawer. The wet ones are left laying around the house.

Last Monday, I did have a "Potty Party" with her. We practiced all day and she was successful. She got candies every time she went. Now a week later, she still doesn't care. After changing two pairs of poopie panties today, I wish that I didn't care either.

Ironically, she will pee when she wants candy.

  1. Oh, Jennifer! I feel for you. Potty training is one of the great challenges of being a parent, isn't it? Her day will come, I promise. In the meantime, be happy that your boys are old enough and you only have one in diapers! It could be worse!
