I had my ultrasound today - the moment of truth. I don't think that ultrasound printouts are too endearing. They look more like Halloween adds for skeleton posters. The first one is the head (right) abdomen (left). The second is the head with the leg kicked up. The third one is an awkward view of the knees tucked up and baby BOY evidence between.
I have openly said that I'd love another girl and a sister for Jessica. But I'm not surprised or disappointed that we are having another boy. I'm just so excited to be having a baby again. I've been referring to this baby as "he." After I had Jacob, I remember thinking that I'd be sad if he were my last boy, so I guess that problem is solved. We have more sports, scouts, & missions to look forward to. And you better believe that I'm going to milk as much "girl time" out of our little Jessica as I can. We girls need to stick together!!!
congrats! i am so excited for you. you are going to have so much fun with that baby. my kids are thinking of names that start with j but they are pretty far out there, i'll let you know when they come up with something good.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to you! I saw a family on the Today Show the other day who had 17 kids, ALL with names that started with J. So, if you're looking for ideas of J names, maybe check out the Today Show website to see a LOT of options!
