We bought our kitchen table nearly 8 years ago. It's taken a huge beating these last few years. My friends "the Saras" convinced me some time ago that I ought to paint it. They showed up at my house last Wednesday to give me the motivation I needed to start and the helping hands to get it finished. I still need a pic of the finished table in the kitchen. The paint job has given this old oak table new life until the time I can get the tall square table on my wish list.
good idea! the chair looks great, can't wait to see the table. i've toyed with the idea of painting a bunch of my garage-sale-purchase furniture...i'll have to pick your brain about it the next time i see you :)
