Released

Well, it's official. I've finished my last day as a nursery leader at church. It has been an exhausting experience (especially bending and chasing kids while pregnant), but it's had it's sweet rewards. I'm ready to return to Relief Society and am excited about teaching on the 2nd Sunday each month. I like the challenge that preparing gospel lessons brings. I also like that I will be free to attend the Gospel Principles class with Jon.

  1. Nursery is a great calling...but I love to teach! I always feel like the lessons are directed more for me than the class and that I get more out of it than I could possibly hope to pass on! Good luck...the JS lessons look like they are going to be awesome!

  2. Congrats on your release! You'll be so glad to be back in Relief Society! And you're going to be a great teacher! I'm the 4th Sunday teacher and have to admit that I'm a little bummed that I won't be teaching out of the new manual, but I'm excited to have some Conference topics to study! Good luck! Hang in there...fortunately pregnancy doesn't last forever!

  3. I would love to go back to RS. I am in primary right now and like that but really miss going to hang with the ladies. Good luck on the delivery...I see you only have 18 days left to go!
